Hi Everyone,
I bid P and G good-bye at the train station just south of Reims. The TGV travels direct to CDG in 40 minutes at a speed of 330 km/hr. We must make an effort in Canada to build one. I left my baggage in the consign in the airport and took the RER to Paris, then checking in at my hotel in Montmartre. Montmartre is a lovely arrondissement in Paris, know to be a haven for artists with Sacre Coeur Church at the top of the hill.
I visited my 3rd friends, Remi and Marie-Christine at their home, where we drank non alcoholic champagne. It was the middle of the afternoon and none of us wanted an alcoholic drink at that point. I spent the rest of the afternoon wandering around Paris. I fly Air Canada to Montreal this afternoon.
