Hi Everyone,
Yesterday afternoon siesta, we took a long walk along the beach. We walked in 1 direction. For ½ hour and then returned, a distance of perhaps 4.6 km.
This picture is taken at low tide. At high tide the basin is completely filled with water.

Today after breakfast, we drove up the coast to La Hague and then did a hike up a few hills along the coast to work up an appetite. Along the coast there is a trail called ‘le chemin des doaniers’ which goes for miles. The original purpose of the trail was for the authorities to catch smugglers. Afterwards we had lunch an a lovely small restaurant overlooking the water. We also visited an abandonned farm and a manoir.
